The code is emailed to you and saved on your receipt, so you can close the app and still find it later. Buying for someone else? Enter their email and the code goes straight to them. Carder sells gift cards and does not buy them back.

How it works
- Put naira in your wallet. Transfer to your Carder account number from any Nigerian bank app, or convert dollars you already hold.
- Open Gift Cards, pick the brand, the card type, the country and the amount. The naira price is on screen before you commit.
- Confirm with your transaction PIN. Most codes are issued straight away; if the brand is slow, the receipt says Processing and updates itself.

- Open Gift Cards on your home screen, pick the brand, then the card type, the country and the amount. Confirm with your transaction PIN and the naira price you saw is what leaves your wallet.
- Can I pay for a gift card with naira?
- Yes. Gift cards are priced in naira and charged to your naira wallet. You can top that wallet up by transferring to your Carder account number from any Nigerian bank app, or by converting dollars to naira in the app.
- Where does the gift card code appear?
- Two places, both yours to keep. We email it to you, and it shows on the receipt inside the app, which you can reopen any time from your transactions.
- Can I buy a gift card for someone else?
- Yes. Enter their name and email on the confirmation screen and the code goes straight to them, with your message if you add one. The purchase still comes from your naira wallet.
- Does Carder buy gift cards from customers?
- No. Carder sells gift cards, it does not buy them. Once a code is issued it cannot be returned or refunded, because whoever holds the code can spend it.
- Why does the country on a gift card matter?
- A gift card only works in the country it was issued for. A US Amazon card will not redeem on Amazon UK. Pick the country that matches the account you will spend it on, not the country you are in.
