Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Carder app and the services provided by Carder NG Ltd (“Carder”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Carder, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
To use Carder you must be at least 18 years old, resident in Nigeria, and able to enter a binding agreement. You must use Carder only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
2. Your account
- You must register with accurate, complete, and current information.
- You must complete identity verification (KYC) before you can use the services.
- One account per person, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details and device secure, and for activity on your account.
3. Our services
Carder lets you, from one app:
- Fund and spend a USD virtual dollar card.
- Hold and manage a naira wallet.
- Buy gift cards.
- Pay bills such as airtime, data, electricity, and cable TV.
Some services are delivered in partnership with licensed third parties. Your dollar card is issued by a licensed card partner and is subject to the rules of the relevant card scheme.
4. Fees and charges
Some services carry fees, and currency conversions are done at the rate shown in the app. Any fee and the applicable rate are shown to you before you confirm a transaction. We may change our fees, and will give notice of material changes.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Carder to:
- Break any law, or launder money or finance terrorism or proliferation.
- Commit fraud, or transact for or with sanctioned persons or countries.
- Bypass, or attempt to bypass, our security or compliance controls.
- Harm Carder, our partners, or other users.
To comply with the law and manage risk, we may refuse, delay, limit, suspend, or reverse transactions, and we may restrict or close accounts.
6. Limits and tiers
Your wallet balance and transaction limits depend on your verification level and on applicable regulation. Completing further verification can unlock higher limits.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, where we are required to by law or a regulator, or to manage fraud or risk. You may close your account at any time, subject to settling any balance and to records we must keep by law.
8. Intellectual property
The Carder app, the Carder name and logo, and the content we provide are owned by Carder or our licensors. You may not copy or use them without our permission.
9. Disclaimers and liability
We work hard to keep Carder reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be notified to you.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
